When purchasing one of our ready made plans, you can expect to receive a full set of comprehensive construction drawings that can be used for the permitting and construction of your home. Please note that depending on your local rules and regulations, additional documents may be necessary to obtain a permit for the construction of your home. These additional documents are property specific, and can only be provided after evaluating your intended build site. The costs associated with these additional documents are not included in the cost of our Build Ready Plans, but can be estimated upon request. Sheets included in our Build Ready Plans;
Foundation Plan - Outlines details of the slab, crawl space, or basement specifically associated with the house that this plan has been designed for. These details may include; footing sizes and locations, floor framing information, slab information etc.
Floor Plan - Shows the interior wall layout, dimensions/room sizes, window and door locations, & location of all sinks, baths, etc.
Exterior Elevations - Views of the front, rear, and sides of the home, including info on exterior materials and roof pitches.
Roof Plan - Provides a bird's eye view of the home. This plan shows details of the roof including roof pitch, attic venting locations, ridges, valleys, skylights, dormers, and the roof finish.
Electrical Plan - Suggested layout for lighting, switches, outlets, and all other electrical and gas fixtures.
Applicable Construction Details - Specific details of how parts of the home shall be constructed. This may include; structural specifications, shear wall details, foundation depth & support requirements, excavating and grading information, masonry and concrete requirements, carpentry and wood specifications, thermal and moisture protection and specifications about drywall, tile, flooring, glazing, caulking and sealants.
